The average business user can pull a chart in seconds and still cannot answer the only question that matters: is this good or bad, and what should I do about it? Analyze is our answer to that gap.
The last mile of analytics was always a human
Every BI tool stops at the same place: it renders the numbers and hands you the interpretation. Power BI, Looker, the reporting in Quickbase and Airtable — they are all exceptional at the chart and silent on the meaning. The 'so what' was always somebody's job, usually somebody senior, usually on a Sunday night before a meeting.
That last mile is exactly the kind of work language models are good at: looking at a set of numbers and saying, in plain words, what stands out.
What Analyze does
Analyze is a second pass on top of data a user has already pulled — often a result from Ask. Once the numbers are on screen, it writes the takeaway: what is trending, what is an outlier, what changed since last period. It turns a grid into a sentence a non-analyst can act on.

- Any result where the next question is obviously "is that good or bad?"
Grounded, not guessed
The fear with AI-written insight is obvious: a confident sentence that is simply wrong. Analyze is constrained to the data that was actually fetched. It comments only on numbers that are really there, and every observation traces back to real records. If the data does not support a claim, it does not make the claim.
The payoff
When an app can explain itself, the gap between 'has data' and 'makes decisions' closes for everyone, not just the analysts. That is the quiet promise of end-user AI: not more charts, but more people who actually understand the ones they already have.
