Is Tadabase AI trying to replace Retool?
Not for internal admin tools — Retool is excellent there. Tadabase AI wins when your app needs to be customer-facing: sign-ups, per-user RLS, customer portals, customer-facing workflows, PDFs to the customer's inbox, mobile-ready PWAs. Retool intentionally avoids that surface area.
Do I need to know SQL or JavaScript to use Tadabase AI?
No. Tadabase AI is conversational. You describe what you want in plain English and the AI writes the queries, the UI, and the workflows. Retool expects you to write SQL and JavaScript yourself.
Can Tadabase AI connect to my existing database like Retool can?
