The promise of 'an app in minutes' has been made so many times it has lost its meaning. Usually it means a mockup, or a single page, or a thing that breaks on the second click. We want to be precise about what we mean by it — because what we mean is a running app, on a real backend, that your users can actually log into.
What "minutes" actually means here
We do not mean a static preview. We mean: you describe the app, an agent designs the data model, generates the pages, and wires them to a governed backend — and you end up with a live URL, real auth, and a permission model already enforced. The output is not a screenshot of an app. It is an app.
The reason this is possible in minutes and not weeks is that the hard, slow part — the backend — is not being invented from scratch. The data layer, the roles, the workflows, the audit trail already exist as a platform. The AI is doing the part that should be fast: the frontend.
The flow, start to finish

The honest caveats
We are allergic to the overpromise, so: 'minutes' gets you a real, running first version. A polished, production-ready app for thousands of customers is still a conversation — a few more rounds of refinement, some workflows, your branding, your edge cases. What is genuinely fast is getting from nothing to something you can click, log into, and react to.
That speed changes the shape of building. The blank page — historically the most expensive part — is gone. You start from a working app and steer, instead of starting from nothing and grinding.
