Practice management, described the way you practise.

Matters, contacts, deadlines, documents, time and the client's view of it all are connected records. Describe the practice and the AI builds the matter workspace, the deadline reminders, the conflict check and a portal where each client sees only their own matter.

The old way.

What it looks like before the app.

  • Deadlines in a calendar nobody owns

Court dates and filing deadlines sit in personal calendars, so coverage depends on who is in.

  • Clients call for status

Every update request is a phone call because there is no secure place to look.

  • Non-billable admin eats the day

Intake, conflict checks and document chasing are hand-done, and none of it is billed.

What Tadabase AI builds for you.

Describe it once and these are the parts you get, each wired to the same data, the same logins and the same rules.

  • Matter workspace

Every matter with its parties, deadlines, documents, time entries and notes, visible only to the assigned team.

  • Deadline reminders

Statutory and internal deadlines with escalating reminders to the responsible attorney and a backup.

  • Conflict check

New intake is checked against every party on every matter before it is opened, with the result recorded.

  • Client portal

Clients log in to see their matter's status, upload documents and read messages, and nothing from other clients.

  • Time and billing prep

Time entries against matters roll up to a pre-bill per client, exported to whatever bills.

  • Document management

Documents attached to matters with versions, categories and who viewed them, all on the audit log.

What’s underneath.

The same platform runs every app the AI builds, so none of this is yours to wire up.

Roles and row-level security
Who sees which records is decided on the server, per role and per row. Not by hiding buttons.
Workflows you can open
Every automation the AI builds is a list of steps you can read, edit and watch fire. Change the words, save, no regenerate.
Portals for outsiders
Clients, tenants, partners, parents or the public log in and see only their own slice of the same tables.
Audit trail
Every login, every change and every export is recorded with who, when and from where.
Real data, real fields
A date is a date, a status is a dropdown, a record links to its parent. Import the spreadsheet you have today.
Change it by clicking
Pick any component on any page and you get its settings, not code. Add a column, rename a field, done.

Questions, answered.

Read the docs
Can each client see only their own matter?

Yes. A client role sees the matters linked to it, their documents and messages, and nothing else. The rule is enforced on the server.

Is there an audit trail?

Every login, view of a record, change and export is logged with who, when and from where, and can be exported for a review.

Can it check for conflicts?

Intake can search every party on every matter before a matter is opened, record the result and who reviewed it. Describe your rule and the AI builds the check.

Does it do billing?

It tracks time against matters and prepares the pre-bill. Invoicing and trust accounting stay in the system your accountant trusts, fed by a clean export.

Can we restrict a matter to a small team?

Yes. Assignment is a field on the matter, and access follows it. Add or remove a person and their view changes at once.
