The unit
Credits are the currency for everything AI does on Tadabase — both the Builder AI (small chat calls) and Vibe code generation (long agent runs). The credits you have are shown in your profile menu and on the Billing & Credits page.
Why credits and not dollars
Credits stay stable when AI provider pricing shifts. If the model behind Vibe gets cheaper or more expensive, we update internally how many credits a typical run costs — your balance doesn't suddenly buy more or less than it did yesterday.
The three numbers on your wallet
On the Billing & Credits page you'll see your balance broken into a few categories. Most of the time only the first one matters.
| Number | What it means |
|---|---|
| Available | Credits you can spend right now. |
| Reserved | Credits being held for a Vibe run that's in progress. They release back to Available as soon as the run finishes. |
| Held | New-account credits in a 24-hour quarantine after a first purchase. See "The 24-hour hold" below. |
Where to see your balance
- Profile menu (top-right) — small live counter next to a coins icon.
- Billing & Credits page — full balance card, transaction history, and the Buy credits button.
- After every Vibe run — a "this run used X credits" line in the chat.
