Heads up
What a workspace is
A workspace owns a set of apps, its members, and one bill. Everyone gets a personal workspace automatically ("Your Name (Personal)"); team workspaces are separate and require a Pro plan or higher. Switching workspaces changes which team's apps and people you're looking at.
Roles and permissions
Members are invited by email. Each gets a role — one of four built-in roles, or a custom role you define by toggling individual permissions:
| Role | Roughly |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control, including billing and deleting the workspace. |
| Admin | Manage members, roles, and apps. |
| Builder | Build apps, without member/billing control. |
| Viewer | Look, don't change. |
Permissions are granular — separate toggles for creating / deleting / duplicating / moving apps, editing data / pages / workflows / settings, publishing and rolling back, managing domains, using specific AI build agents, managing members / roles / billing, and viewing or exporting the activity log. A member can be scoped to specific apps, and can even hold a different role on each app.
Billing and the activity log
- One workspace = one bill. The owner's plan and credit wallet pay for everything inside it, so members can build without their own paid plan.
- Owners can set per-member daily and monthly credit caps and see each member's spend.
- Every builder action is recorded in an append-only activity log, which admins can export to CSV for compliance.
