Why caps exist
Caps are guardrails. They stop a runaway agent loop from spending more than it should, even if you have plenty of credits. Your plan sets the ceilings; we enforce them on every run.
The three caps
| Cap | What it limits | Pro example | Business example |
|---|---|---|---|
| Per-run | A single Vibe run | $2 | $5 |
| Per-day | All Vibe spend in a UTC day | $10 | $50 |
| Per-month | All Vibe spend in a calendar month | $100 | $500 |
What you see when a cap fires
When a cap is hit, your next Vibe run is refused with a clear message:
- Per-run cap — "This run reached the cap and was stopped." Your wallet is only charged for what the agent used before stopping.
- Per-day cap — "Daily Vibe spend reached. Resets tomorrow."
- Per-month cap — "Monthly Vibe spend reached. Resets on the 1st."
Caps and credits work together
Whichever runs out first is the one that stops you. A Pro user with 10,000 credits is still capped at $100/month of Vibe spend; a user with $5 of credits can't spend their full $100/month cap.
